Coach Digiovanni enters his fourth season with the Royals in 2009-2010 and his second as head coach. Digiovanni led the Royals to a 15-13 record in 2008-09 and an appearance in the Section 5AAA semifinals. With a lineup that includes three returning starters, the Royals look to return to the top tier of the highly competitive Mississippi 8 Conference in 2009-2010. Before being named head coach in May of 2008, Digiovanni spent two seasons as a Royals assistant under former coach Lamar Detert and helped guide the Royals to the 2008 Mississippi 8 Conference title and an appearance in the Class AAA State Tournament where Rogers finished third. Prior to moving across the Crow River to Rogers in 2006-2007, Coach Digiovanni spent six productive seasons with neighboring conference rival St. Michael-Albertville. While coaching at STMA, Digiovanni was part of the 2001 AA State Championship team as well a return trip to the tournament in 2006.
Originally from Pine River and a graduate of St. Cloud State, Digiovanni teaches 5th grade at STMA Middle School East in St. Michael. When he’s not in the gym, he enjoys taking his coaching experience outdoors where he has coached football and baseball over the past 14 years. Coach Digiovanni and his wonderful bride, Amber, make their home along with their dog, Kirby in Big Lake.
Coach Hannon begins her sixth year in the program after guiding her last four teams to winning seasons. Her enthusiasm and love of the game is infectious. She also has assisted with the championship seasons of the varsity program over her tenure with the Royals.
Another coach who has been there, she enjoyed playing success at St. Louis Park High School and then went on to Saint Benedict's where she enjoyed even more success. She has translated this success on all levels of the Rogers basketball program.
Coach Hannon is a fourth grade teacher at Rogers Elementary School. She is very active with basketball, still playing, and working summers at various camps. She currently resdies in Maple Grove.
Coach Kolles enters her second year with the Royals in 2009-10. She will continue in her role assisting the varsity and junior varsity teams.
Coach Kolles played basketball at Monticello High School and continued playing at Augsburg College. She has coached in the Wayzata 9th grade girls basketball program, the Anaheim Family YMCA programs and at the Brooklyn Junior High girls program.
Coach Kolles is a physical education teacher at St. Andrew Catholic School in Elk River. She resides in Maple Grove.

Coach Coleman has spent the last 37 years involved with basketball in many different capacities as a player, fan, volunteer, parent, and coach. As a coach, he has volunteered at St. Alphonsus School in Brooklyn Center. Greg has also coached junior varsity boys basketball at Mounds Park Academy in St. Paul and served as assistant varsity and JV coach for the Totino-Grace boys' team in 2008-09.
Coach Coleman works full-time at Medtronic. He currently resides in New Brighton with his wife, Laura, and their children Shawn (14), Anna (10), and their spoiled dog, Tucker.
